"I picked up the demo of LFS a very long time ago, sometime in 2005. At the time I didn't have the wheel, and it was the first 'game' / simulation, that I couldn't use the keyboard with - just too sensitive and I didn't spend enough time getting used to it. I tried the mouse for a lap or two but that was worse than the keyboard; so I threw it out the window and didn't think anything of it.
Near September 2006, I found LFS again, although this time I had a wheel; as crappy as it was it was much better than the keyboard and mouse. After playing LFS and rFactor demos for months and months I decided I would buy LFS, even if it cost more than rFactor it seemed like the better demo.
Live for Speed, certainly did not disappoint me. I played single-player for most of 2007 as I did not have the internet, but even single player was enough of interest to keep me hooked. Had a taste of online racing, although with a crappy (Xbox 360) controller, and enjoyed it a lot. Late 2007 I bought the G25 and really got into online racing; joined Storm Racing met de Souza and a lot of friends and had some great times!
Over the rest of 2008 I have dedicated myself to building my "Sim Racing Station" and have made it more complete than I thought I would. Competed in many leagues, such as the Gentlefoot Formula Challenges, great competitors and racing, and created the Head-to-Head: Racing Series, which later became the best new league of 2008.
Obviously I helped found Sim Racing Society, and have had a lot of fun since. Favorite cars; FOX, LX6, XRG/XRT and many more. Favorite tracks; almost anywhere, but this would depend on the car really."

"My first contact with LFS was many years back, when I was looking for a racing game at BH Motorsports wich I didn't know yet. At that time I didn't find it anything special and soon let it go. But I eventually got back in 2006, when I tasted the online playing for the first time and was amazed.
In June 2007 I bought my license, and a few months later I was asked to join Storm Racing. While there I took place in many leagues, including the ex-Adaptive Racing's Road Sport Winter Cup and later the Gentlefoot Challenges.
Also in the meantime I became a friend of Blackbird and got involved with his LFS projects, the same happening a little later with Mp3 Astra. Those projects gave birth to the H2H Series and ultimately this very team, after we left Storm.
Tin tops are the way to go for me, specially those without slicks or downforce and preferably RWD - even though there's great fun to be had with the FOX -, and maybe Kyoto on the tracks department, along with Blackwood Reverse."

"I began in December 2006 with my humble mouse, racing on the demo version for 3 months. When I eventually asked my Mum for money to buy the full game I had no idea how much a humble PC game would affect my life.
I raced with the mouse up until December 2007 when I got a wheel, the DFP. It was in February 2008 when I first came across Blackbird and his Head-to-Head leagues. In its 4th or 5th event I offered to help admin, and became interested in joining what I thought was his team: Storm Racing.
I joined Storm Racing and we all had fun and games for a while, and I produced several broadcasts for the Head-to-Head Series. At the same time I drove in leagues such as the GFC and the GTTC as well as an endurance race.
After some awkward moments, SRS was created and I naturally made the jump across. Recently I have raced in the UFBR series, the Road Sport Cup and have been commentating on HeadToHead and Masters of Endurance.
My favourite track, I think, is Westhill International. Racing that track with the FOX is just wonderful; when you get it right it's better than any other perfect lap in LFS."

"My journey in LFS began back in April 2007, were upon mindlessly stumbling along YouTube I came across a video for LFS. I can't remember what video it was but i was instantly hooked and put LFS into Google, the rest they say is history.
I spend about a week as a demo user before upgrading to S2 and quickly realising that my trusty sidewinder is no use (mainly due to the fact that every time I had to lift off to change gear.....it would also cause the brakes too come on) I moved up to the G25. I've raced a few leagues, but due to a lack of talent the positioning was...well shall we just say that I was the foundation block of most league tables I entered.
Since then I've become a a bit of a 'sim addict' gaining GT legend, GPL Legends, GTR, Rfactor, nKpro and Iracing into my collection, but of all the sims it's LFS that I keep coming back to. Well they always say that your first love will always stay with you.
At the turn of the year I received an invitation from Tim, asking if I would like to join the team and it felt right to agree to join up SRS. Having raced with the other member previously, I knew that the team promotes clean, fast friendly racing and at the end of the day I can only hope that I live up to it."

"Like many, I started playing the LFS demo with a mouse and I'd have a go on it just once in a while. It wasn't until about 8 months later, nearing November '07, that I started playing it properly and upgraded to S2 along with the G25 to boot. From then onwards it's had me by the balls! 14 months later with over 30,000 miles and I still haven't had close to enough yet...
I joined team RacingX upon getting S2/G25 and immediately jumped into league racing by winning the LFS Beginners Club ran by New Dimension Racing (yeah, basically i was the best newbie back then!).
Doing the LFSBC gave me a chance to learn plenty early on with regard to racing rules, race-craft and general league procedures within LFS... And now having had a taste of the competitive league racing available, I went looking for more...
Next I joined the LX Only Cup where I soon discovered that the LX4 is my favorite car in LFS. I can also remember sharing the track with 3 drivers in that league who are now my teammates. Who'd have thought...
Throughout the following period I did a few one-off events; one of which was my longest race to date: 2 hours on Aston North (one of or maybe my favorite track in LFS). It was a good race despite making a couple of costly mistakes & I've been wanting to do more/longer endurance races ever since.
After doing all that league racing whilst being part of a team but not with the team i decided to call it a day after a full year with them. I continued to build my skills on the CTRA servers along with a bit of hotlapping to get some good times under my belt. A few months later and here I am with the Sim Racing Society!
I'm currently participating in DarkSideRacing's Road2F1 and I look forward to putting in plenty of track time with the team in the future. I can race with a competitive nature when needed but I'm always having fun whatever I'm doing and whatever my track position... I just love to race as fast I can!"

"I started racing on LFS back in January 2007. I spent most of my time either racing the FOX on the Redline servers or the UF1 on the STCC server.
In May I joined the GFC in the FOX for it's first season and raced in the league up until it's close in the summer of 2008. It is here where I first met and raced against Tim, Michael and de Souza. After the GFC I had a long break and didn't race much, until the OWRL MRT Cup over the New Year, and I have since participated in some of the regular OWRL Division B races.
Tim invited me to join SRS after a brief reunion on the Sonicrealms server and after having raced with the guys previously I knew that I would be joining the right team for me.
My favourite cars in LFS are the single seaters and my favourite tracks are Kyoto National and Aston Historic."
