Sim Racing Society was originally created for a development team December 2007, working on a very complicated server system project that has since been put on hold. The system branched off into Dash For Cash which led on to the Head-to-Head Series.
At this time SRS was just the development and admin team for these projects and most of the members were in Storm Racing, which was providing a development server and was getting credited for hosting Dash For Cash and the Head-to-Head Series.
In July 2008, the racing team was created as Michael Passingham (Mp3 Astra), Eduardo de Souza (de Souza), and Tim Beaudet (blackbird04217) left Storm Racing in search of a different team environment. In the six months since the racing team was created, the team has been in events and leagues such as 16hrs of Kyoto, Road Sport Winter Cup, IFDS, Desire of Patience Tour, GFC Reunion, UF BabyR Cup, Real Life Racing League, and of course our own Head-to-Head Racing Series.
